Wall Primer:-

Mastercoat Wall primer is suitable for application on exteriors as an undercoat to the exterior emulsion.

Applying primer over new surfaces seals the original material so that the paint doesn’t soak into it, requiring extra coats. Primer also helps to hide joints, or seams, on new drywall, and it prevents bleed-through from knots and other natural blemishes and coloring in the bare wood.

  1. Using a primer will allow for a more true color.
  2. It will aid in durability of the top coat.
  3. It will allow the user to achieve a darker color with less coats.
  4. It will require fewer top coats for an even coverage.
  5. Painting without a primer is a waste of money. Unless you are using a hybrid paint and primer in one, it actually costs more money to apply multiple coats of paint. Primer is meant to provide a sealed surface that can be easily patched and sanded. Whereas using multiple layers of paint without a primer will not be as durable or repairable as the proper process would be.

Wall Putty:-

Whenever you want to give a new and fresh look to your house, painting is the absolutely correct way to change the ambiance of your home.

You have decided to get your home painted. But the question is – Is it just paint or there are some other things that make your paint finish better and last longer?

Yes, it is wall putty which makes your painting shine, makes it strong and saves cost, too. When it comes to a perfect finish, wall putty is important prior to paint application. So, before you start, it is necessary to know about wall putty.

Wall Distemper:-

The basic constituent of Distemper Paint is chalk, lime, and water.

Distemper Paint is also known as cement paint. This is called so because such kind of paint can be applied directly on cement walls without any other coating on them without using the primer.

Wall Texture:-

Texture painting gives an extraordinary look to your house. It is a very popular type of paint to cover drywall. The paint has heavy consistency and consists of grains of sand and/or gypsum which is bound by a water-thinned binder. Use of texture paint creates a roughly patterned effect on the wall.
